This is the race version of our original 1962 Cobra street roadster. The 289 FIA Cobra dominated tracks throughout the 1960s and was developed into the Cobra Daytona Coupe which won the World Manufacturer’s Championship beating out Ferrari in FIA competition in 1965. Our current line of 289 FIA Cobras features upgraded components but we held onto the transverse leaf spring suspension to maintain the driving feel of the 1960s. They’re available today as the CSX7000-series Cobra in either aluminum or fiberglass.
